So it has been awhile since I have blogged and the reason for that is that I have gotten a long term sub job. I wish I could say that I got a full time job but hopefully that will be in the cards for next year. I am now teaching 2nd grade until December. My class is very talkative but I love them and want to do anything I can to help them learn. It's only been a few weeks of school, but I am already dreading having to say goodbye to them.
On another note, lets see, the military oh and the health care system. So I finally went to see my new doctor, nothing big, just a new patient visit. Need to go back soon for an actual exam, but anyways I got a prescription and had to get it filled. Filling it a military pharmacy is free so of course I chose that route. Anyways I went to fill it on base and found out that they only take new prescriptions before 3pm, which was wonder (sarcasm), since school doesn't get out for me until 3pm everyday. So I thought that was stupid and ended up going to Balboa to get it filled. So I arrive in the pharmacy, figure out that I need to take a number, and sit and wait. I get called and the lady goes to look me up but alas, I am not in the system. The reason for this is because you have to register to use the pharmacy, which no one tells you to do!!! Which is so frustrating. End of story, I got the prescription, but it took awhile. I just wish they would have this handbook that gave you the information that you needed instead of you trying to do something and finding out you need to do something else first. Communication is necessary!!!
I did however shop at the exchange this week and got a great purse for a great price! Found out that they carry the makeup I use as well. I can't wait until I actually have money and can go shopping there for a few things!
So, some time ago I do remember reading an article that talked about the stress of having a child on a marriage. I remember it said that you should be married at least 2 years before you conceive. What I don't understand is all this people, freshly married and young having babies before they even have a stable marriage. Especially if you are in the military. I just think it is silly and hope for the child's sake that they don't end up in a divorce court. Well that is all for now, sorry to be all over the place, just how my mind is working these days!
