Love

After thinking about my own life and looking at others around me I have to say that I believe that you are not meant to end up with your first love. It seems like the relationship that you have with your first love is passionate and destructive at the same time. I think it turns you into a person that you don't really want to be. In my experience I was 15 when I met my first love, it lasted for four years and turned me into one of those crazy girls. It made my emotions physically affect my body at times. If we had ended up together for the long run I think I would have had mental difficulties and I never would have trusted him. After moving away from our home town I dated several people as I finished college and then finally met my husband to be when I was 23. I think everyone needs to date and experience life before they can settle down into a marriage. Now, there are some cases of people marrying their high school sweethearts and end up being happily together forever. As time goes by and society changes I believe marrying your high school sweetheart will become a thing of the past since most people will now attend college, travel, and experience life which will change who they are. Those are just my thoughts on the subject...hopefully it makes sense.
